Outperform Competitors on Social Media
Get potential customers to think about your business before others
When your target customers have more interaction with your competitors on Facebook and Instagram, chances are higher that they’ll do business with them instead of you.
IMPACTfox gives you an overall impact score each week to let you know if others in your business niche gained more IMPACT in Facebook and Instagram.
The weekly email from IMPACTfox lets you see quickly whether similar businesses had more interesting posts that brought more likes, comments, or shares. It also lets you see if their higher impact was due to publishing not only more interesting content, but also whether it came from posting more frequently, or having more followers.
With this information in hand, you’ll know the most direct path toward outperforming other businesses in your sector. With the simple comparison graph that IMPACTfox gives you each week, you’ll see right away which of your scores — Interest Level Rank, Activity Rank, or Followers Rank – deserve the most attention in order to compete better.

stay ahead on social media.
Check your weekly email from IMPACTfox and have a look at your Facebook and Instagram Impact Scores. The Impact Scores are shown as a percentage in the circles.
This score shows you how well your social media performed in the 3 key areas for gaining the impact you need for business: Having interesting posts, having enough posts, and having a competitive number of followers.
The value in the circle is your rank compared to others across those 3 key areas. If the value is 80% for example, it means that during the last week, your performance was ahead of 80% of the others in your industry that we sample.
It also means that 20% of the industry is doing better than you.
Under the circle values are the 3 key factors you need to focus on in order to know how to improve your Impact Score so you can compete better. Like the Impact Scores, these bar graphs show percentages compared to others in your industry.
Check the first bar – the one showing the level of interest in your posts over the previous week. If it shows a number such as 55, it means that your posts were more interesting than 55% of the posts from other businesses in your industry that are being sampled.
And it also means that 45% of the other businesses are putting out more interesting posts. Interesting posts are the ones that get more likes, comments, and shares.
The second bar shows where your social media effort ranks in terms of how often you post. If you see a number like 95, it means you are posting more often than 95% of the others in your industry sample.
Similarly, the 3rd bar shows how your follower count ranks compared to the others.
So in summary – you can glance at the overall Impact Score to see if it shows opportunity for improvement, and then look at which of the 3 score factors in the bars underneath are lowest. You can then focus effort right where it’s needed the most.
Common improvements that can be made include these. And don’t forget to pay close attention to the latest methods from great sources of advice like these.
